Bird Photo and Nature photograph Album

This photo album include Bird photographs by Jari Peltomäki and other photographers. Most of these Bird pictures are taken on Finnature Bird photo tour. You can view pictures and think what kind of photography techniques there photographers used taking these advanced photographs.

These photos are taken by Finnature guide Antti Peuna in Oulu and Kuusamo areas during this spring while he has been guiding filmgroup and some individual travellers.

Some fresh bird images from Kuusamo taken by Olli Lamminsalo in February - March 2010. Some of the landscapes are from previous winters- but there is plenty of snow in Kuusamo at the moment also!
There is good eagle activity at our Eagle feeding station close to Oulu in winter 2009 / 2010. Beginning of January 4-5 Eagles have been visiting baits daily.

These photos are taken with wide angle lens. With short lenses it is possible to make shots which stand out from a lot!

With digital cameras it is possible also to take so called slow shutterspeed shots. By experimenting with different shutter speeds it is possible to create very different looking images. All photos copyright Jari Peltomäki.

Great Grey Owl and Hawk Owl were photographable in Oulu area in winter 2009.
