Finnature guides had a meeting in Kuusamo at the beginning of October. We had good time and made some great plans for future.

We also put up 17 nest platforms / boxes for Great Grey Owls in Kuusamo.

There are lot of voles in the area and we expect that the year 2011 will be very good for breeding owls! We also saw 3 Hawk Owls and heard couple of Tengmalm“s Owls during 2 days- and this is good sign!
