In most of our excursions for individuals in Oulu area we were able to get good views of Great Grey Owl, Ural Owl, Tengmalm“s Owl, Short-eared Owl and Pygmy Owl this year.  

Hawk Owl was more difficult to see this year and unfortunately the nestsite was found too late for most of the excursions! Also Hazel Grouse, Three-toed Woodpecker and Black Woodpecker were seen in most of the trips.

In Kuusamo area e.g. Capercaillie, Black Grouse, Hazel Grouse, Siberian Jay. Siberian Tit, Red-flanked Bluetail, Rustic Bunting and Little Buntings were seen in most of our excursions this year.
